Marc and Lisa live and work off-grid. For the past 20 years they’ve been interested in living small, creating their own electricity, and being as sustainable as possible.

2007 – Trained in the renewable energy field through Solar Energy International (SEI) and Midwest Renewable Energy Association (MREA).

2008 – Began installing wind and solar electric systems.

2014 through 2017 - Marc worked with Doctors Without Borders/Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) as a logistician, where he implemented hands on solar training classes, and developed a small deployable solar electric system to power vaccination refrigerators and lights in remote clinics and hospitals. In his experiences abroad he found the need for robust emergency and mobile systems.

2015 – Created Off-Grid Solutions, concentrating on off-grid and emergency/mobile battery backup systems.

2019 – Marc became a Victron Energy Ambassador/Trainer and currently trains dealers and installers on the latest Victron equipment.  

A new dba, Tiny Home Power, was formed in 2019 after identifying a need for safe and easily installed systems for the Tiny Home community.
