Colibri is a chic tiny house that covers a total area of approximately 250 square feet and yet offers sufficient space to sleep a small family comfortably. The sheer use of architectural intelligence to make the most out of a limited space is what makes this tiny house special. The layout of Colibri is pretty commodious despite its wee structure. This house has a high curb appeal and can make many heads turn with its fantastic structural built and design.
For lap siding, the exteriors of Colibri display a seamless installation of wooden planks which give the house a sophisticated look. The brown colour of these walls pairs well with the black colour of the roof and both these shades together form a classy colour scheme to envelop the entire exteriors in elegance. The larch cladding with saturation gives the house a touch of beauty. The same theme is sustained in the interiors to make the living space seem cosy yet classy.
The house is quite sturdy and assures the residents’ safety. There is an aluminium plate installed under the galvanised trailer for protection. You get 100mm wood wool insulation in the frame of the structure while for the roofing 80mm wood wool insulation has been done. A vapour barrier is also provided to resist any diffusion of moisture through different parts of the house to regulate the temperature of the house and to prevent the growth of mold.
There are multiple windows inset in the frame of Colibri that prove to be of great use. The windows allow natural light to enter the house to not just enhance the interiors’ beauty but also allow the residents to save some extra pennies on electricity. The aluminium windows are thermal lacquered which make them more efficient. Not many tiny houses offer a choice of customising the house as per the owners’ needs but Colibri aims to provide class-apart service to let the residents lead a comfortable life.
The kitchen presents a systematic arrangement of utilitarian features such as a 2-burner electric cooktop, a 58 x 44 cm granite sink with an attached faucet, a solid oak worktop and sufficient storage space in the shape of pull out drawers and cabinets. There are two mezzanines provided in Colibri that are each quite capacious and accessible through hideaway ladders placed in the living room. One loft is comparatively larger than the other but you can easily sleep up to two people in the smaller loft and up to four people in the bigger one.
Colibri looks very chic and offers a wide variety of useful features. The house is pretty spacious despite its small structure as the layout has been smartly designed and planned and Colibri can sleep a family of four comfortably.
