The tasteful exterior is home to a rectangular 72 FT porch with a floor to ceiling pillar which is a wonderful perk. You can take advantage of this extra available space to enjoy a summer evening sitting out. Despite having a limited structural plan of 1 bedroom and 1 living room with 1 bath and kitchen, the Ponce cottage is pretty spacious as it covers a total of a whopping 504 SF. The bedroom dimensions are 11’4” x 12’ 4” allowing you plenty of elbow room after placing the mattress of your choice. The cubic windows act useful during the day by bringing in ample sunlight and fresh air.
The living room is adjacent to the bedroom and is directly connected to the outer porch which can be accessed simply by opening the door. The living room incorporates the open kitchen and you can set a tiny dining table across it to cleverly utilise the bare minimum. The living room is slightly larger than the bedroom with 11’ 8” x 17’ 4” dimensions and the designated kitchen space is of 5’ 11” x 7’ 11” dimensions. The cathedral ceiling of both, the bedroom and the living room, provides greater ventilation and creates an illusion of taller walls.
The single bathroom is attached to the bedroom and comprises all regular bathroom accessories such as a tiny bathtub, a washbasin and a commode. The bath closet can however fit a dryer or stackable washer which qualifies as smart usage of restricted space. The kitchen has an L-shaped countertop with a stove, a corner wall sink and sufficient space for adjusting a standard sized fridge. Built by the historic shed, this tiny house can be shipped to the United States or Canada. This cottage is built in Florida with a base price of $84k and can shelter up to 4 people comfortably.
The slab options vary between pier slab and concrete slab. The modern panelled exterior with horizontal wainscot walls and a gable roof is not only practical but also very attractive. This roof design promotes better water drainage and reduces the risk of mold and mildew build-up from rainfall on the roof and displays the execution of sheer architectural brilliance.
The neutral-toned exterior makes the ponce cottage look chic and classy while the structural choice for the roof is judicious. The accommodation capacity of 4 people makes it an ideal choice for a nuclear family. The abundant leeway offered in the shape of 504 SF is a great bargain howbeit the lack of a loft or an attic may pose as a disadvantage. The ponce cottage is not a typical tiny house and is packed with all the basic amenities.
