Built by the Hummingbird Tiny Housing, the Royal Iris is a beautiful tiny house that exhibits architectural excellence. The blue and white coloured door and glass windows breathe life into the basic rectangular structure of this tiny house on wheels. The practical use of windows for ventilation and infiltrating sunlight is coupled with small outdoor window plant shelves that elevate the exterior beauty of the Royal Iris. The exterior wooden lap siding along with an attached mini porch with stairs also add up to the larger picture.
The interior is well lit from natural sunlight as well as from the plethora of oval ceiling lights. The combination of white and light wood tones certainly make the interior look radiant. The L-shaped kitchen is an eye catcher with a smart layout that bestows on you ample elbow room. The arrangement of compactly packed cupboards on top of the kitchen counter and drawers with cabinets beneath is highly user-oriented. The in-built microwave in the top cabinets with a 24 inch electric smooth top oven, the side by side fridge with double freezer drawers and granite slabs of the kitchen counter make the kitchen easily operable.
The living area is connected to the open kitchen and is characterised by vivid exuberance. You can conveniently place a nice regular tuxedo sofa opposite to the desk which can prove to be a cosy work setup. The living room along with the kitchen is kept cool with an air conditioner affixed in the wall right above the kitchen counter. The brilliant use of wood for the window frames and the ceiling gives the interior a very sophisticated look. The broad bead board wooden ceiling is identical to the polished floor of the Royal Iris.
The bedroom loft is 12ft wide, cosy yet spacious enough for two people and has an attached staircase accessible from the living room. The tile floored bathroom is just as elegant as the rest of the house. The bathing facilities comprise of a tile shower and a jetted walk-in bath tub whereas a 48 inch vanity, washer/dryer combo and a standard residential toilet complete the entire washroom. A mirror hung on the wall makes it a complete package.
The Royal Iris is a beautiful tiny house with a warm and pleasant aura. The abundance of windows not only accentuate the appearance of this house but also keeps it radiant. The exterior and the interior are equally enchanting and the entire house is packed with all the required amenities. The strategic placement of cabinets and drawers grants more space for storage and decoration. The outer planter boxes beneath the windows is a cute additional feature. It can accommodate up to 2 people and is ideal for a small family or couples.
