Like any other conventional Wind River tiny home, The Monocle is also designed to provide the comfort of a perfect and cosy home. The Wind River Tiny Home’s motto to construct houses that go beyond the physical structure of the house and promote homely vibes, is truly represented by the Monocle. It is a custom home which was a dream of a California’s couple and it was designed keeping in mind the cosy character that this couple wanted the house to possess.
The exterior of the house is very unique and the distinct design of the Monocle’s structure makes it appear even more appealing. The external design seems to be in a three tier format and gives an illusion of more spacious interiors. The Monocle is 10 feet wide and the interiors are pretty broad and commodious. The exterior puts on a fine display of lap siding and the winsome blue & white coloured theme used for coating the exteriors looks very beautiful.
The big windows installed in The Monocle are of different sizes and come in different shapes. The windows keep the indoors radiant during the day and also help in locking out excessive noise from the outside world. The interior colour scheme allows the indoors to appear bright and open while also simultaneously looking snazzy. The shiplap white walls along with the brown ceiling and flooring look exquisite. The natural light pouring in through the windows keeps the kitchen and great room illuminated during the day and elevates the interior’s look while also working its magic on the ambience.
The living room is decent sized and can hold a moderate sofa or a loveseat. You can also add house plants in the living room as well as the kitchen to accentuate the beauty of the interior design and also to decorate your living space. The kitchen has a long counter that comes with a wooden finish top and an array of white cabinets underneath to keep up with the colour scheme of the house. A two burner stove top and a wide sink are embedded in the kitchen countertop for your convenience.
A fold down table is affixed in the wall which can be used to either stack cereals and food jars or it can also double up as a makeshift dining table for two. The open shelves affixed in the wall above the counter not only serve the purpose of providing extra storage facility but also appear as a style statement. The washroom is equally stylish and functional and The Monocle can sleep up to two people comfortably in the bedroom loft.
The Monocle is a very pretty tiny trailer that gives utmost importance to style and storage space for its residents.
